Easter 2026
I will be taking a short break (3rd–13th April) over Easter. You can still place orders, but they won’t be processed until I return on 13th April.
Shipping to the United Kingdom
I use Royal Mail 2nd Class service.
This is normally a 2-3 day service (from dispatch) and the delivery charge is £3.70.
You will receive an email informing you that your order has been completed and posted.
Please note, once your package has been dispatched, I cannot amend the order details (such as items, quantity, address details etc.).
International shipping
Unfortunately, I do not currently offer international shipping.
Returns
Unopened and unused items in their original packaging and in re-sellable condition may be returned to Sage Folk within 14 days of the date you received them.
Please get in touch at contact@sagefolk.co.uk for further details on how to make a return.
Please note that customers are responsible for the cost of return postage. I recommend using a tracked delivery service to return your order, as I cannot accept responsibility for the package until I have received it.
Orders returned to Sage Folk by the delivery provider because they haven’t been collected, have been refused, or have incorrect delivery details (such as an incorrect address, etc.) will be refunded minus the original shipping cost once I receive them back.

Exchanges
Unless you have received an incorrect item by mistake, I cannot offer exchanges. However, you can return the unwanted item for a refund and submit a new order for the one you would like instead.
Discount Codes
Our welcome discount code (available by signing up to the Folk Press newsletter) currently offers 15% off the total cost of your shopping basket—with a few exclusions.
The discount will not be applied to items that are already on sale, it also will not be applied to the cost of shipping. The discount code can only be used once per customer and cannot be used in conjuction with any other discount codes, sales or promotions.
Packaging
I’m working to make Sage Folk’s postal packing as eco-friendly, sustainable and plastic free as possible. The current packaging that I use includes padded envelopes, which have recycled paper cushioning instead of plastic bubble lining, and cardboard postal boxes, which are made of 80% recycled materials.
I use recyclable paper tape to seal your packages.
The shipping labels I use were previously compostable, but I’ve had to switch back to non-compostable labels while I find a new supplier.
I use parcel paper or compostable “packing peanuts” to protect the items in your order. I also reuse as much packaging from my suppliers as I can to ensure I generate as little waste as possible. The majority of orders that I send out have reused void filler in them (and I hardly ever have to use my backup supply of unused parcel paper).
I encourage you to reuse your postal packaging where you can. If not, please recycle it where possible.
Payment Methods
We currently accept payments via credit or debit card (processed by Stripe), as well as via Paypal. Simply select the payment option you wish to use at the checkout.
