Each bar of lavender and tea tree solid shampoo is handmade with Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils. The castor oil in this shampoo adds additional moisturising and conditioning properties.
if used in the appropriate way, this bar of solid shampoo has the potential to last longer than its plastic-bottled counterpart. We recommended cutting the bar up into smaller pieces (usually quarters work well) to make it easier to manage but also to increase the longevity of the product. Allow the shampoo to dry between uses and store it away from moisture to get the most out of your bar.
The lavender and tea tree essential oils in this shampoo give it a refreshing and cleansing scent, as well as helping to promote healthy hair growth.
All Friendly Soap shampoos come in a plastic-free cardboard box that is both recycled, and recyclable, making them a low waste alternative to plastic bottles of shampoo.
The transition period
There is often a transition period that occurs when switching from regular shampoos (which often contain foaming agents and detergents) to natural shampoo. During this period, you may find that your hair and scalp feel dry, oily or even waxy. If it’s your first time using a solid shampoo, we recommend reading our tips on how to transition to natural shampoo bars before going ahead with the switch.
